C-hooks

C&G Engineering service designs and manufactures C hooks for lifting and handling coils, pipes and mechanical components, possibly balanced with a counterweight, which are extremely robust to allow continuous service.

The structure is designed by means of highly accurate calculation programmes which allow the identification of notching stresses; these are reduced by providing suitable fittings. The structure subject to load is machined from oxidised sheet steel of high quality (usually S275JR or S355JR).

Depending on the customer's request, C&G Engineering Service can supply the C hook or the entire equipment complete with accessories for connection under the hook (tie rods, shackles, bells and chains).

All equipment is CE certified and complete with user and maintenance manual according to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. A calculation report signed by a qualified engineer and/or documentation in English is available on request.

Bracket design

The brackets that C&G Engineering Service designs and manufactures are used for lifting and handling sheet metal packs or coils. The structure subjected to load is made from quality oxidised sheet steel (usually S355JR). Depending on the customer's request, C&G Engineering Service can supply only the brackets or the entire equipment, complete with accessories for the connection under the hook (tie rods, shackles, bells and chains).
